VIDEO: Kobe Bryant Assesses His Performance: ‘It Was Sh–‘

It was a long Sunday night for the Los Angeles Lakers, losing by 41 points to the Golden State Warriors in their third preseason game. With just six points in 24 minutes, Kobe Bryant had an off night offensively, knocking down just three of his 13 shots. After the game, though Bryant gave loads of credit to Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors, Bryant wasn’t about to gloss over his personal performance:

“It was sh–. Seriously?” Bryant laughed while assessing his personal performance in response to a reporter’s question. “Can you print that or no? Digital media you can, you can get away with that.”

Bryant also said the Lakers definitely had some heavy legs on the court today after grueling practices in training camp, but once the Lakers get through camp and start “tapering down” on some of their tough practices, that shouldn’t be an issue.

Throughout the game, it was clear that there was some serious competition going on between Kobe Bryant and Steph Curry, who led all scorers with 25 points. Check out what Bryant had to say about challenging Curry and keeping up with other “young bucks” in the game.
