The Los Angeles Lakers fought their way back again in a preseason game Tuesday night and found themselves in a close match with the Phoenix Suns. With the score close in the final minutes, Kobe Bryant took control just as he has done in the past.
The first basket came with just over two minutes left in the game and tied it at 88 apiece. Bryant took the ball at the elbow and drove towards the baseline to hit a fadeaway.

On the next possession, Bryant backed down his defender and nailed another jumper that gave the Lakers a 90-88 lead. Isaiah Thomas countered with a basket and a foul to give the Suns the lead back only for Bryant to come back down the court and hit his third consecutive basket.
For all his heroics, Thomas tied the game at the end regulation and the Lakers fell 114-108. Bryant left the game midway through the overtime period to end his night.
