Kobe Bryant is currently rehabbing from a torn rotator while staying busy during the NBA off-season as he normally does around this time of year. Along with making the occasional public appearance like he did at BET Genius Talks or during his basketball camp in Santa Barbara, Bryant is much more inviting these days to interviews and questions on the fly then in years past.

A perfect example of Kobe’s openness to answer questions in unscheduled interviews was recently seen when the Los Angeles Lakers superstar was approached by TMZ Sports on the street. Bryant went through the motions answering questions about the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team recently winning the World Cup and who won the emoji battle on Twitter during the DeAndre Jordan saga, Kobe gave the edge to Muhammad Ali and Michael Jordan, but then a strange question was asked about the Kardashian family.

Bryant was first asked about how he felt about Caitlyn Jenner receiving an award at the ESPYS and he answered it by saying the following, via TMZ Sports:

“I think people have to be comfortable being themselves,” Bryant says … “Doesn’t matter what walk of life you’re in man, you gotta be comfortable being you.”

A typical honest response from the NBA superstar, but then things got weird. A little too weird for Kobe’s liking and he had no problem calling out the TMZ reporter.

TMZ: “Who is the Kobe Bryant of the Kardashian family?”

Kobe: “Every question was a good question until that one.”

As usual, Bryant keeping it real and not simply answering every silly question that’s thrown his way. Never change, Kobe. Never change.
