VIDEO: Lakers’ Nick Young Hosts A Hollywood Starline Tour

Nick Young might be out of commission for the Los Angeles Lakers until after Thanksgiving while recovering from surgery on his thumb, but that didn’t stop him from hosting a bus tour in Hollywood while sporting the purple and gold.

The man also known as “Swaggy P” took to the streets of Hollywood atop the double-decker bus with a microphone in the hand wrapped in a cast. Young managed to entertain the tourists on the bus as well as the ones along the sidewalks of Sunset Boulevard like only he could, but whether he brought forth any knowledge of the city if up for debate.

Did anyone learn anything about Hollywood and its history during this tour?

Probably not.

Were these tourists entertained by the Lakers star?

Most definitely!

Young led the Hollywood Starline Tour bus down Sunset Boulevard while passing famous landmarks like the Grauman’s Chinese Theater and the Laugh Factory. The veteran guard/forward may not be able to contribute on the floor for the Lakers, but there’s no wiping that patented smile off his face as he’s clearly enjoying every minute of his time with the iconic franchise he grew up watching.
