VIDEO: Metta World Peace Returned Because He’s “Too Sexy For His Cat”

Metta World Peace made a bit of a miraculous recovery from his torn meniscus, which he had surgically repaired less than two weeks ago. On Tuesday night against the Hornets, MWP returned to the court for the Lakers.

World Peace came off the bench, which helped to give Kobe Bryant some rest (well a good amount in Kobe’s view). He played a total of 15 minutes, and scored four points off of 1-3 shooting. MWP had the highest plus/minus for the Lakers last night with +12.

After the game, MWP spoke to reporters about his knee and his earlier than expected return to the team. His response (shown in video below) was…interesting. It’s so Ron.

Metta is expected to continue to play as the Lakers take on the Blazers in the Rose Garden tonight.
