The Lakers second game of the season saw them fall to the Denver Nuggets 97-88. Like the first game, there were some bright spots, but the ultimate result wasn’t exactly what the Lakers were looking for.
There was, however, a monster dunk thrown down by Lakers reserve Darius Johnson-Odom. The lefty was able to beat Ty Lawson off the dribble and beat Anthony Randolph to the rim to throw down a vicious right handed dunk. Even with the Lakers losing at that point in the game, DJO was able to bring the crowd to their feet for the most exciting play of the night. Check out the .gif and video below.
