With Shaquille O’Neal being inducted into the Naismith Hall of Fame this weekend, we thought it was the perfect time to take a look back at some of our greatest memories from his eight seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Of course, Shaq will always be remembered for his larger than life personality. Whether it was calling the Sacramento Kings the Sacramento Queens or inciting roars of laughter from the media in his press conferences, Shaq is still the prime example of understanding and embracing the entertainment side of the NBA.

On the court, Shaq brought three consecutive championships to the purple and gold, alongside teammate Kobe Bryant. Whether it was throwing down dunks or coming up with big time blocks, Shaq was a force to be reckoned with in the paint.

From the infamous Kobe to Shaq alley-oop in Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals against the Blazers to his near quadruple-double in Game 2 of 2001 NBA Finals, we’ve got it all. Reminisce with us as we look back at some of our favorite memories from The Diesel.
