It’s the first time the Los Angeles Lakers have ever been without a win in the preseason, and the 0-6 record seems to be affecting each player differently. After the Lakers 99-92 loss to the Sacramento Kings Sunday night, Steve Nash opened up about the struggles his team has faced in the preseason.
“It’s been painful and ugly at times, but this is going to pay off….We have moments when we doubt and question ourselves, but overall are excited and thrilled.”
Kobe on the other hand has never showed any signs of doubt.
“We’re playing extremely well, it’s pretty effortless for us….I think we’re ahead of the curve in terms of how we execute (the Princeton offense).”
Nash, however, seems to have a different take on the struggles that each player has faced during the preseason.
“All five of the starters have been the guy, at times in their career, to try to fit in but at the same time exploit your talents… I think each guy is struggling with that too.”
Check out what Nash had to say post-game in the locker room!
