After winning his fourth NBA title in 2009, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant picked up where he left in the following season. Bryant, who captured his first finals MVP award the year before, had another sensational season in 2010. Bryant averaged 27 points, 5.4 rebounds, and five assists for the season. While his top highlights didn’t include as many electrifying dunks as his early years, Bryant dazzled the whole league with multiple game winning shots. Bryant hit game winning buzzer-beaters against the Heat, Bucks, Kings, Celtics, Grizzlies, and Raptors. Bryant’s Lakers would finish with a 57-25 record, and the top seed in the Western Conference for the third straight season.
Bryant continued his impressive season in the playoffs. Bryant has a stretch of 12 games in which he scored at least 30 or more points in 11 of those games, and capped off his 14th season with a fifth championship, and second straight finals MVP award.
