NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Utah JazzMany were excited for the return of Kobe Bryant, and rightfully so. But perhaps the Lakers may have been a bit too excited when they released this promotional video to advertise Bryant’s return against the Toronto Raptors on December 8, 2013.

Apparently, the Utah Jazz thought that it would be funny to make a spoof of the Lakers  somewhat over-the-top “return” video for Kobe. After Marvin Williams missed four games with right foot inflammation, they decided to capitalize on the opportunity.

This is a very interesting gesture from the Jazz organization.

We know that they aren’t the biggest Kobe Bryant fans as he’s found a way to ruin their post-season hopes in recent years, so that could probably explain the intent for the video.

Bryant tends to take things personally, so we could probably expect him to have a big performance against the Jazz when the Lakers face off against them on December 27 in Utah.

Here’s the spoof video showing how they welcomed back the Marvin Williams.
