The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Los Angeles Clippers opening night and will be without their star, Kobe Bryant, who spent Monday’s practice on the anti-gravity treadmill rather than on the court. Head coach Mike D’Antoni has no update on when he will return.
Chris Kaman was out on the practice floor again today, his second day back since missing nine days due to stomach issues. Despite saying that he definitely felt “winded” today, Kaman will play on opening night. D’Antoni would not release tomorrow’s starting line-up, but Shawne Williams told the media that he expects to start tomorrow.
