VINE: Kobe Bryant Explodes For Dunk During Lakers Practice

After appearing in only six games last season, Kobe Bryant has played fairly well in the Los Angeles Lakers’ four preseason games so far. While the Lakers have struggled, the five-time champion has averaged 15.3 points and 4.3 assists in just 24 minutes per game.

While most of Kobe’s shots have come from the perimeter, he is still figuring out what his limitations are after two consecutive season-ending injuries. Having said that, during the Lakers’ practice on Saturday, he decided to test himself by exploding for a dunk in traffic during a 3-on-3 drill.

Here is the video of Kobe’s dunk via the Los Angeles Lakers’ Vine account:

From training camp to preseason games, this is the most elevation anyone has seen from Kobe and it is an encouraging sign for the Lakers and basketball fans around the world. With 11 days before the season opener against the Houston Rockets, Kobe and the Lakers have plenty of work to do if they want to prove their doubters wrong.
